Forgotten Paradise: The Meeting by Malick Welli & Charlotte Brathwaite examines environmental and cultural loss in Popenguine-Ndayane, Senegal. Born from collaborations with local women farmers and tied to the Koom Koom Farms agricultural initiative, the series fuses local mythology, ancestral memory, and landscape. These photographs center human bodies within nature to question what is sacrificed in the name of progress.
